While peak load technologies such as gas-fired CHP plants, which are only in operation a few weeks a year, are not expanded for carbon capture, point sources with base load characteristics such as biomass CHP and process emissions from industry are fully (partially) developed as soon as the transport of carbon (hydrogen) is permitted.
