Cell surface proximity labeling assisted by protein A–HRP and biotin-aniline (bio-aniline) to label cell surface RNAs. Isotype or mAb2 antibodies were used as anchors, and the resulting total RNA (SYBR Gold signal, SYBR) was analyzed on a northern blot, detecting biotinylated species (streptavidin IR800, strep). A high-molecular-weight (MW) smear is highlighted (orange) that is sensitive to RNase and sialidase treatment. Representative of three individual replicates.
