Time-lapse images of beads being expelled from condensates. RGG with PS-PEG-polyA20 (green) was originally at 50 mM NaCl. Salt concentration was raised to 150 mM NaCl at t = 0. Beads rapidly transport out of the condensates. Experiment was repeated independently three times, with similar results. (Scale bar, 5 m.)
