GC-MS monosaccharide composition analysis of itol-acetates from purified GL8Pb shows two chromatographic signals at Rt 17.95 min and 19.78 min identified as 2- O -methyl rhamnose and rhamnose, respectively, based on their retention times and electronic impact mass spectra (Fig. S7 ).
