Survival Curve from Scientific Research

Averaged daily survival of mosquitoes taking a blood meal with and without the associated withdrawal of sugar. Results include a replicate performed at 21 C, and temperature was included as a factor in the statistical model. For all panels, survival analyses were conducted using (mixed-effects) Cox proportional hazards models ( P ns >= 0.05, P * < 0.05, P ** < 0.01, and P *** < 0.001). Sugar water (10% fructose) availability, and when provided, blood meal timing is indicated at the bottom of each panel. Shaded areas indicate the 95% pointwise confidence intervals. The order of each condition in the legend matches the final survival probability ranking of that condition within each genotype.
