After treatment with BIO, migrating U87 cells demonstrated loss of protrusions and elongated cells concomitant with an increase in the appearance of rounded single cells (white arrowheads) compared to untreated cells (white arrowheads) in a 3D environment. In contrast, migrating U251 cells maintained long cellular protrusions; however, these were decreased in number and length post treatment with BIO (white arrowheads). Scale bar: 200 m.
