Expression of sc with NRETS-FO blocks normal EC differentiation (compare with A) and promotes re-expression of Dl (empty arrowheads) and EE differentiation (solid arrowheads). EB-derived EEs occur occasionally upon da or da:da overexpression but are very frequent upon sc overexpression, which also induces the formation of pre-EEs.
