Immunostaining on paraffin sections (H) and whole-mount tissue (I) showed increased apical Aqp1 and Atp1a2 expression in P7 FoxJ1-Cre/+; Ift88fl/fl CPECs. Littermate-controlled Ift88fl/fl and FoxJ1-Cre/+; Ift88fl/fl mice were compared. Apical Aqp1, Ift88fl/fl (n= 5) vs. FoxJ1-Cre/+; Ift88fl/fl (n= 4), **p= 0.0061; apical Atp1a2, Ift88fl/fl (n= 4) vs. FoxJ1-Cre/+; Ift88fl/fl (n= 3), *p= 0.0215. All statistics are calculated with nested unpaired two-tailed Student’s t test unless specified otherwise. All error bars are standard error of the mean unless specified otherwise.
