Transient expression of NbPrf enhances resistance to P. infestans. Half of the leaves were infiltrated with EV (left) or NbPrf (right) for 24 h before inoculation with 10 μL of P. infestans (T30-4) zoospores (4 × 104zoospores per milliliter). Symptom images were taken under UV light at 5 dpi. Lesion areas caused by P. infestans were measured (n= 42; **p< 0.01, Student's t-test). Scale bar, 1 cm.
