Western blotting of whole-cell extracts (5 x 106 cells) of T. brucei procyclic form (PCF) or bloodstream form (BSF) wild-type cells and PCF or BSF cells expressing TbMfnL::10HA revealed with an anti-HA antibody. It should be noted that Enolase used as a loading control is about 3–4 times more expressed in BSF than in PCF, according to Hannaert et al.37
