The dashed grey lines mark V L = V R and V L = - V R . CAR is enhanced when V L and V R have the same sign, whereas opposite-sign V L and V R promote ECT. The G RL data slightly deviate from this, which is probably due to the non-negligible G RR at V R = 0 that would enhance ECT.
