Violin Plot from Scientific Research

Cryo-EM peak density of all SWIM-identified waters is plotted for waters in both cryo-EM maps (‘consensus’ (red) n = 268) or only one cryo-EM map (‘non-consensus’ (pink) n = 268). The violin plot displays the range, dotted lines are the quartiles, and pairwise significance was determined by two-sided Mann-Whitney U -test ( P = 3.6 x 10 −26 ). The black dashed line is the mean density of the map.
