Polarization- and magnetic field-resolved decay of ESA 1 kinetics. On application of an 800-mT field, the ribbons align in the magnetic field, splitting the degeneracy of the horizontal pumphorizontal probe (HH) and vertical pumpvertical probe (VV) polarized experiments. Further, we find a significant reduction in the signal magnitude when photoexciting V polarized (along the PNR long axis). Inset shows the orientation of PNRs with respect to light polarization and magnetic field.
