A mosaic border cell cluster composed of some control cells (RFP+, which can be dZIP7+/+ or dZIP7−/+, magenta, H′) and one homozygous dZIP7 mutant cell (RFP−, outlined). Polar cells (p) express higher levels of RFP compared with outer border cells. Xbp1::EGFP (green, H″) is a marker for ER stress.
