Line Plot from Scientific Research

The dynamics of the sighting error over a considerable range of feedback delays. The mean of the absolute values of sighting error is plotted for all 16 combination cases, including all echolocation and flight tactical elements. Applying or not applying each tactic is indicated by + or - in the right side, though six lines densely overlapping each other are omitted. Focusing on the tactics of flight maneuver and sensing direction, we set four colors by applying neither, applying flight maneuver, applying sensing direction, and applying both, as gray, blue, green, and magenta, respectively. We set gradient on each color to indicate application of the remaining tactics, sensing rate, and angular range. The case of applying all tactics is emphasized by a bold magenta line (+, +, +, +).
