Competition between TF and DnaK/J. Coomassie-stained SDS-PAGE of the resuspended ribosomal pellet from high-salt co-sedimentation assays of RNC1–180and RNC1–687, incubated with either TF (+TF), DnaK and DnaJ (+KJ), or all three factors in the specified order (+KJ+TF or +TF+KJ), all in the presence of ATP. Only bands corresponding to DnaK, TF, and ribosomal protein L2 used as a loading control are shown.
