Reduction of longitudinal relaxation time (T1) with temperature for lignin of different average molecular weights compared to a polymeric polystyrene standard's benzylic () C-H correlation peak: similar evolutions are observed for lignin's aliphatic -C-H and -C-H correlations (blue lines) and aromatic (black lines) groups and for the internal standard (red lines), without a significant impact of molecular weight.
