hs399 is active in the cortical plate and intermediate zone of an hs399-CT2IG enhancer transgenic mouse at E13.5. TBR1 promotes the activity of the hs399 putative regulatory element, as the hs399 activity (GFP expression) is reduced in Tbr1null/null. Anti-GFP immunostaining is in green.
