Eggs were translocated from a Dutch population of pied flycatchers to a Swedish population of pied flycatchers from 2017 to 2019. We studied the song development of seven of the males that subsequently hatched from these translocated eggs and returned to breed in Sweden with 100% Dutch ancestry (referred to as translocated males) in 20202021. Spectrographs of a typical song from each population are displayed along with their corresponding countrys flag.
