Stars on top of vertical bars indicate significant (following model choice according to AIC values;STAR Methods;Table S1) changes in time-dependent partitions across the Jenkyns event (∼183 Ma), the Jurassic/Cretaceous (∼145 Ma), and the Cenomanian/Turonian (93.9 Ma) boundaries (with dotted lines showing non-significant trend variations).
