Species transmissibility (STAR Methods) by mode of delivery (Fisher’s exact test, allpadj >= 0.05, Table S3H). Colored bars correspond to the number of families (parent-infant pairs) sharing the same strain of each species, while white bars correspond to the number of families (parent-infant pairs) harboring a different strain of that species. Only species detected in at least 10 mother-infant pairs are shown. Species transmissibility is defined as the number of pairs with shared strains (colored bars) divided by the number of pairs with shared species (sum of colored and white bars).
