Bacterial counts in the kidneys, bladder, and urine of untreated vs. treated mice. Treatment with ciprofloxacin was started 24 h after infection. Each dot represents one mouse; lines are means and bars SEM. Black dotted lines represent the limit of detection (1 colony per 100 L). Significance was determined using the Kruskal-Wallis test with adjustment for multiple comparisons. Allpvalues are shown; statistically significantpvalues (<0.05) are in red.
