ROC curves assessing mapping of marker peptides to known PBIs. All peptides from the FLiP dataset with available multimeric PDB structures ( n = 364373 multimeric structures) are included in the analysis. If multiple PDB structures are available for a given protein, we chose the PDB structure with the most subunits (Biggest), a random PDB structure (Random) or the PDB structure that best matched our data (Best). For all analyses, a peptide was defined as at the interface if its average distance to the interface was <2.6 (light blue) or <0.3 (dark blue). The gray line represents a random classifier.
