Schematic illustration of the RSPT imaging instrument: a 2 W 785 nm laser is beam-shaped into a line using a cylindrical lens. The transmitted Raman scattered light from the sample is collected and imaged onto a line array comprised of 43 fiber cores coupled to a spectrometer. The Raman signals are then captured with a 2D CCD. The sample can be rotated up to 360 and displaced along the z-axis to collect a full 3D projection dataset.
