Histone methyltransferase assays of PRC2 in the presence of chromatin reconstituted using different H3 variants and H3K9 modifications. In all cases, me2 and me3 represent the respective methyl lysine analog (MLA), and - represents an unmodified lysine residue. The barplot represents the mean densitometry values as recorded from the radiograms (see Supplementary Fig. 11b and Source Data file).
