Normalized initial rates for the constructs obtained as in a f were calculated by the slopes of the curves obtained as in g in the interval between 50 min and 200 min. The data are presented as mean s.d. from at least n = 3 technical replicates and up to n = 4 biological replicates for each sample. The whiskers (in h and i ) are 1.5 s.d.; mean (white dots) and median (black lines) are indicated for each data set. No outliers have been excluded.
