The same YBCO 7 half-disc shown in Fig. 1a was cooled below T c and photo-excitation was performed with an ultraviolet laser pulse to disrupt the superconducting state. The time- and spatial-dependent pump-induced changes in the local magnetic field were quantified analogously to Fig. 1a using a double modulation scheme (Supplementary Information section 3 ).
