Results for the hydrogenation of N-methyl and N-alkyl imines using cyclometallating agent D. The catalyst was pre-formed in situ. Hydrogenation reactions were run overnight in DCM at 3 bar of H2 with 1 mol % of catalyst at the temperature listed. 100 % conversion was obtained in all cases, as determined by 1H NMR.
