Angular dependence of the charge current for counter-clockwise (above one) and clockwise (below one) helices. The currents were calculated using Model II. In Model I, we used the next-nearest hoppingt0= 1 eV; the other parameters are (εm1,εm2) = − (2, 0.5)t0,w0=t0/10, λ0= λ1=t0· 10−3,pR= 0.2, ϕL= π, ϕR= π/2, θR= π/2. In Model II, we used εm= −2t0, λ1=t0· 10−3,tvib=t0/10, λvib=t0· 10−4, ωvib=t0· 10−6, and τvib= 2/5t0. For all simulations we used Γ0=t0/10,pL= 0.2,Vsd= 4t0/e, andT= 300 K. Note that the currents in b) and c) are multiplied by 1013and 20 to be on the same scale as the current in d).
