Zscore distribution of the IL-1beta in the supernatant for individual siRNAs. The RNAi screen is carried out in PMA-differentiated THP-1 cells upon LPS (i) or LPS+nigericin treatment (ii), using ELISA for the measurement of IL-1beta in the supernatant. Hits with a Zscore <= -1 or >= 1 are chosen as candidates for further validation.
