Spontaneous osteogenic differentiation assays of whole BM cells from PdgfracreER;Osxdre;R26ZT1;Col1a1BFP mice at 6 months after fracture. Flow cytometry revealed a significantly lower percentage of Col1a1-BFP+ cells in the ZsGreen+ subpopulation than in the tdTomato+ subpopulation. All data represent mean ± SD from 5 mice per time point from 3 independent experiments. Statistical difference was measured by two-tailed Student’s t tests (∗∗∗p < 0.001).
