Micro-CT analysis of normal and healed bones revealed markedly reduced osteogenesis in healed cortical bone at 6 months after fracture. Measurements of cortical area (Ct. Ar) of normal (Nor), healed (Hea), and fracture-neighboring cortical bones (Nei). All data represent mean ± SD from 5 mice per time point from 3 independent experiments. The statistical significance of differences cortical bone regions was measured by repeated measures one-way ANOVAs and Tukey’s multiple comparison tests.
