In vitro ubiquitylation assay using sfGFP–pep1 and mCherry–pep2 with the indicated C termini, recombinant FBXO31, remaining E3 complex members (SKP1, CUL1–NEDD8, RBX1), E1 (UBA1) and E2 (UBE2R1, UBE2D3) enzymes.
