Schematic representation of the phosphoproteomic workflow for the quantitative analysis experiment between Guy11 and pmk1to determine putative Pmk1 targets in M. oryzae. Spores and germinated cells were synchronized at 0, 1, 1.5, 2, 4, and 6 h. Phosphopeptides were enriched using TiO2 microspheres and were subjected to liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Samples for 3 biological replicates were analyzed by parallel reaction monitoring (PRM).
