Scheme of metaprogram (MP) generation approach created with BioRender.com. Each sample is clustered individually by Leiden and NMF. All Leiden and all NMF programs across all samples are clustered by their gene overlap. Each cluster is collapsed to a consensus MP by selecting for the most recurrent genes across programs within the cluster.
