Crystal structure containing two D 2 sites with the limiting composition of γ-Mg(BH 4 ) 2 2.33D 2 . Mg atoms are shown as grey spheres and BH 4 groups as blue tetrahedra. The unit cell is defined by red lines, the D11 positions of the D 2 centroids are shown as red spheres and the D22 positions of the D 2 centroids as purple spheres.
