Imaging the dynamic process of topological Anderson phase transitions. Each image is an accumulated field distribution of 100 samples. The phase transition from a forbidden mode to a TAI boundary mode transported along the upper boundary is observed. Simulation results are shown for comparison, and are in good agreement with experimental results. In contrast to random diffusions of bulk modes, the TAI boundary modes propagate along the boundary and rapidly decay into the bulk.
