Schematic of the experimental design for the VaccGene project. DNA from 2,499 infants across three African sites were genotyped on the Omni 2.5 M array and then imputed to a merged reference panel of 1000 Genomes phase 3 (1000Gp3) combined with the African Genome Variation Project (AGVP). VaccGene population locations are represented with blue points, and African 1000 Genome populations are in red.
