Violin Plot from Scientific Research

Levels of soluble factors were measured in patient serum samples at pretreatment using the Luminex technique. Nine patients with PD and seven with SD were included in the analyses. Patients showing disease stabilization at cycle 3 displayed significantly lower levels of MIP-1, IL-8, CD62E and GM-CSF compared with those with PD (median shown). A two-sided Mann–Whitney U -test, with no adjustment for multiple comparisons, was used for statistical analysis.
