The catalytic activity of each 3CLpro mutant was evaluated using the FRET-based assay. The data of V max and K m represent the means SD of three independent measurements. The k cat values were calculated by dividing the mean values of V max by the concentration of 3CLpro (25 nM) in the assay system.
