BEAS-2B cells were pretreated with punicalagin (50 μM) or glycine (5 mM) for 30 min before treatment with MBP-118-45 in the presence or absence of mtDNA. Cell toxicity was assessed by the uptake of PI using flow cytometry. Data are representative of 3 independent biological replicates. The assay was performed in duplicates.
