Performance comparison of melanoma prediction models for dermoscopic images. We used images from the ISIC dataset: for malignancy prediction, 70,515 images (9,999 malignant versus 60,516 benign) and, for melanoma prediction, 43,678 images with disease-specific labels (5,900 melanoma versus 37,778 non-melanomas). In one-sided, paired Student’s t -tests, as performed in f and g , the following P values were observed: for melanoma, 4.419 × 10 −22 , 1 and 1, respectively.
