Schematic illustration of LINGER: a model predicting gene expression by TF expression and chromatin accessibility using a neural network model. LINGER pre-trains on the atlas-scale external bulk data and retains parameters by lifelong learning. The population-level GRN is generated from the neural network using the Shapley value.
