Workflow from Scientific Research

Analysis scheme employed to measure the effect of the 2D GWAS signal to improve phenotypic predictions. The dataset is divided into a train set (50%) and a test set (50%). The train set is used to perform 1D and 2D GWAS and retrieve stronger GWAS signals. The SNP (1D) and SNP combinations (2D) positions are used to predict phenotype classification from the test set that did not serve to identify the SNPs. Phenotype prediction is performed on the test set.
