Schematic representation of experimental set-up adopted to test the stability of PPN bound to PCL under flow. The system, based on a peristaltic pump loop, generates oscillatory pressure and flow profiles allowing testing PCLPPN scaffolds under various shear stress conditions. The scaffold is fixed against the tube wall, exposing PPN to the flow while a filter membrane is placed downstream to capture any potential PPN eluted from the PCL.
