Nox2 mRNA stability analysis in macrophages after actinomycin D treatment. Mouse peritoneal macrophages were infected with H37Rv, H37Rv:ΔEsxB, H37Rv(ΔEsxB + GFP), and H37Rv(ΔEsxB + EsxB) (MOI = 5) for 4 h and treated with actinomycin D (5 μg/mL). Cells were harvested at the indicated timepoints. Expression levels were normalized to 0 h and Gapdh was used as a reference gene.
