Microscopy from Scientific Research

Mouse small intestinal epithelial cells (MODE-K cell line) and C57BL/6 mice were separately treated with 4 mM and 400 mg/kg.bw FITC-labeled (green) stachyose for 04 h, followed by nucleus staining with DAPI (blue) and cytoskeleton staining with rhodamine-labeled phalloidin (red). Images shown were representatives from three experiments and were acquired by confocal microscopy with a 63x objective. Merged channel and orthogonal view were processed with Leica application suite X (LAS X). See also Figure S1B for other time points. Mean fluorescence intensity was calculated by ImageJ.*p< 0.05.
