C6 F72 and F75 are needed for interaction with HDAC5. TAP-tagged N1, C6, or C6 mutant F72R or F75R was expressed in HEK293T cells by transfection. TAP-tagged proteins were affinity purified by Strep-Tactin and analyzed by immunoblotting with the indicated antibodies.
