The co-occurrence of skills across occupation pairs is visualized as a weighted adjacency matrix of the bipartite ESCO network. It shows the number of skills shared between all possible pairs of occupations adjusted for the lower relevance of optional skills. The ten ISCO 1-digit major groups are annotated and delineated by gray lines. The inlay zooms into one area of the matrix to highlight the level of detail. In the inlay, the gray lines delineate ISCO 3-digit occupations, the unit of analysis for the empirical part of this study.
