The ferro/ferricyanide permeability was measured in deionized water. Data reported in the literature include amidoxime-functionalized AO-PIMs,26sPIM-SBF,27hydrophilic PIMs,28,31polyethersulfone blended with sPEEK (PES/sPEEK),39Fumasep E610,40graphene oxide (GO),41Selemion CSO,42and Celgard 3501.29The numbers labeled next to the symbol for sPEEK-Trip correspond to the ion-exchange capacity. The upper bound line is an empirical plot to show the trade-off between the charge-balancing ion conductivity and redox-species permeability of existing membranes and porous separators.
